Nexplay EVOS Joins Minana Esports for the Eleventh MPL PH

Nexplay EVOS has unveiled its squad for the eleventh season of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Professional League Philippines (MPL PH). Setsuna “DOGIE” Ignacio has alluded to this relationship in his vlogs. The team will be named Nexplay Minana and comprised of promising young players from Minana Esports. One seasoned Nexplay EVOS veteran remains on the lineup.

The eleventh season of the MPL Philippines will begin on February 17, 2023. Eight franchise teams will compete for the championship title and an invitation to the coveted Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2023.

Through a collaboration with Nexplay EVOS, Minana Esports enters the MPL.

Nexplay EVOS is one of the teams that has made significant squad changes for MPL PH Season 11. Renejay “RENEJAY” Barcase, who filled in for Blacklist Intenrational’s SIBOL squad, and John “H2wo” Salonga, who is now a member of RSG Slate PH, was previously released by the team.

Through a Facebook post, Nexplay Esports revealed their roster for the upcoming season, which includes members of the amateur team Minana Esports.

The squad consists of the following individuals:

  1. Jeniel “YellyHaze” Bata-anon
  2. Actually “Boyet DR” Chumacero
  3. Dominic “Domengdr” Del Mundo
  4. Danver “Ding DR” Canja
  5. Mitzuki “Brusko DR” Akiyama
  6. Martinez, Christopher “Goyongdr”

The bottom line

Only YellyHaze survived Nexplay EVOS’s last team. The remainder of the team consists of emerging talent from Minana Esports. The two coaches, Joshua Alfaro and Jayson Navarro Casidsid will lead the team. It will be fascinating to observe Nexplay Minana’s performance in MPL PH Season 11.
